Cutting just got more powerful—and more convenient—with the Worx Nitro 40V Cordless 16" Chainsaw. This chain saw delivers high-powered cutting without the need for gas—and the maintenance hassles and cost it carries. Whether you're tackling everyday trimming or confidently slicing through dense hardwood, its high-performance 40V battery power ensures you don't have to compromise on productivity. Adding to the cutting power is the cordless chainsaw’s high-efficiency brushless motor. Compared to brushed motors, it runs 50% longer, delivers 25% more power, and delivers a 10X longer life. The 40V battery chainsaw runs on Power Share PRO batteries, which are designed to optimize power and resist damage to increase runtime—so you can slice through 150 pcs of 4"x4" hardwood on a single charge. Those same batteries can also be used with 140+ power tools, outdoor equipment, and various lifestyle products that are all part of the of the innovative, eco-friendly Power Share platform by Worx. Expect rapid, smooth cuts with this battery operated chainsaw. It delivers a 59 ft/s cutting speed—2X that of its predecessor. And with the chainsaw's robust support of the brushless motor, heavy loads won't shut the equipment down, so you can get more work done efficiently. With automatic lubrication, the chain stays perfectly oiled without you needing to worry about it, providing smooth and efficient cutting, while also prolonging the bar & chain life. Adjusting your battery powered chainsaw chain is just as easy. The tool-less chain tensioning and replacement system is designed to save you time and effort. Simply turn a knob clockwise to achieve perfect chain tension without overtightening. Or turn it counterclockwise to replace the chain without any need for tools. This chain saw doesn’t skimp on safety. Its quick-stop chain brake immediately springs into action if kickback occurs to help prevent injury. Plus, the added safety trigger lock prevents accidental starts, offering additional peace of mind.
