The Mcusta Zanmai Damascus Flame series boasts a remarkable 33-layer Damascus blade with a premium VG-10 'super steel' core, ensuring sharpness, edge retention, and resistance to rust. With a Rockwell hardness of 60 to 61°, the blades offer a harmonious balance between rigidity and flexibility. Each blade is expertly sharpened, polished, and features Zanmai's Hamaguri V-Cut form, resulting in incredibly sharp knives with exceptional food release. The handles' end caps are mirror finished, providing additional balance. The striking red Pakka wood handles are triple-riveted, accented with red spacers and a traditional Japanese decorative pin. Each knife is meticulously handcrafted in Seki city, Japan.
