- Box of 50 Dura-Gold Premium 5" 1000 Grit 8-Hole Pattern Purple Film Ceramic Sanding Discs with a Hook & Loop Backing. These high-performance film-backed dust-free sanding discs have a hook and loop backing that securely attaches to dual-action and random orbital sanders with an 8-hole hook and loop backing plate (discs fit on most sander brands). The 8-hole pattern enables superior sanding dust extraction, ensuring a clean, dust-free working environment and extending the discs' work life.
- Exceptional Sanding Performance: These ceramic film-backed abrasive discs cut much faster and last three times longer than traditional abrasives. Superior-quality resin-bonded sanding discs with a specially treated hard ceramic grain fused with zirconia alumina. The aligned ceramic grains enable a very fast cutting speed and deliver a super-sharp cut with a consistent scratch pattern. The tough ceramic grain wears down and fractures continuously, generating new, extra-sharp cutting edges.
- Improves Productivity: The discs are highly resistant to clogging and loading, increasing productivity and reducing material consumption. The precision-shaped grains require less pressure, reducing technician fatigue while also running cooler to improve the overall quality of your work. You will achieve a finer, more uniform finish faster, saving you valuable time.
- Multiple Usage Applications: The extra-sharp cut and long-lasting durability of these ceramic grain sanding discs make them suitable as workhorse sandpaper for a wide range of industries and applications. They are ideal for use in autobody repair and paint shops, metalworking shops, woodworking shops, marine industry, drywall installations, industrial manufacturing, and much more. They sand exceptionally well on hard surfaces and are great for sanding hardwood flooring.
- Full Range of Sanding Grits: These 8-hole style premium 5" ceramic film-backed sanding discs are available in variety packs with multiple grits and separately in a full range of sanding grit grades from coarse to very fine: 40, 60, 80, 100, 120, 180, 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, and 2000. Dura-Gold offers a vast professional product line of high-quality sandpaper types that provide exceptional sanding performance, allowing you to get the job done fast, saving you time and money.
