DiMarzio Evolution Bridge Humbucker Pickup - Black

The DiMarzio Evolution humbucking pickup gives you plenty of output and a tight, aggressive tone, and now Sweetwater offers it to you! Originally developed for legendary guitarist Steve Vai, the Evolution features 4-conductor wiring, ceramic magnets, and DiMarzio's patented dual-resonance configuration, which produces more harmonic overtones than conventional humbuckers. A great pickup for pushing your amp to its full tonal potential, this humbucker is ideal for high-octane live performance applications - while giving you plenty of definition for the studio, too. Take your axe's performance to the next level with the Evolution! Developed for Vai's guitars The result of two years of research to come up with the right sound for Steve Vai's guitars, DiMarzio's Evolution bridge and neck pickups are designed for maximum impact and power. The neck pickup is fat, punchy and loud. The bridge pickup is tight, aggressive and louder. Both pickups have DiMarzio's patented dual-resonance configuration
