Charterhouse 3D Media Baskets are designed to improve the existing filtration solutions provided as standard by the manufacturer.
Media Basket C is designed to increase the capacity of filter media in your rear chamber. As this is the final basket that water flows through before being returned to your display, we would advise that the shelves are used for chemical or mechanical filtration (or both) to provide a final polish of the water before heading back into the tank. I
f you require extra shelves to really max out your filter capacity these can be purchased separately. *
Avoid over-filling to the point that flow is restricted through the rear filter chamber. For best results use in combination with Fluval Evo Media Basket A & B.
For best results, we advise you to block the small hole in the rear chamber of your Evo aquarium with the provided plug. This can be glued, silicone or secured with putty.
All Charterhouse 3D products are printed in-house using PETG plastic, meaning the product is completely aquarium-safe and UV resistant.
