- Installation Instructions:1.Safety First: Disconnect the vehicle's battery. 2.Relieve Tension: Use a wrench/socket on the square drive of the old tensioner to slowly release belt tension. 3.Remove Belt: Slip the old belt off the pulleys. 4.Route New Belt: Carefully route the new belt following the vehicle's routing diagram. 5.Apply Tension: Rotate the new tensioner arm to slide the belt on. Rotate smoothly by hand; do not impact. 6.Check & Verify: Reconnect the battery. Start the engine and run for a few minutes to ensure smooth, quiet operation.
- Exact OE Fit: Engineered to precisely match the fit, function, and performance of the original tensioner specified for your vehicle. It ensures correct belt tension, alignment, and damping, enhancing overall performance. Designed for direct replacement, it allows for a hassle-free installation.
- Enhanced Durability: Constructed from superior materials for ultimate durability. Features a torsional round spring design that provides consistent tension and reliability, eliminating belt noise and reducing tensioner pulley noise for a quieter drive.
- Integrated Functionality: This assembly includes both a drive belt tensioner and pulley, powering essential components like the AC generator, power steering pump, and air conditioning. It ensures they operate smoothly and effectively, with a vibration damping system that optimizes tension and reduces wear on the belt and accessory components.
- Compatibility Verification: Before ordering, please verify your vehicle compatibility using the Amazon Fitment Filter System located in the top left corner. It’s essential not to rely solely on the year, make, and model; check the compatibility tab, including the notes, or send us a message to ensure an exact match.
