Vintage favorite from my personal collection! She has a dark twist-&-turn body with bent arms, Black curly hair below shoulder length, gorgeous warm brown eyes with green eyeshadow, black brows, light orange lips, & blush on her Hispanic face sculpt.
I’ve re-dressed her in the original 1985 Dee-Dee orange lace sleeveless top paired with fringed denim shorts. She wears vintage red pumps, & an added orange hair band for fun & has her original ring (no earrings).
Real Dancing Action waist-tilt mechanism for lifelike dance moves
Dee-Dee was one of the original 5 members of the 1986 Barbie & the Rockers line, alongside Barbie, Dana, Diva, & Derek.
In 1987, she starred in the animated specials Barbie & the Rockers: Out of This World & Barbie & the Sensations: Rockin’ Back to Earth.
European markets knew her as part of Barbie & the Rock Stars, with spin-off Colorforms & Shrinky Dinks playsets, an early Mattel multimedia push.
